Job Description:
• Teach in Englisch, Art History and French to very academically motivated and able high school sophomores (age 15-16) coming
from many different schools from across the United States.
• Teaching will include French I through French Advanced Placement (class size is between 2-6 students)
• Teacher will teach four classes
• Teacher will assess students regularly through assignments, tests, and exams
• Teaching will include correspondence (usually be e-mail) with the sending school in the United States
• Curriculum for each student will be provided by the home school in the United States
Requirements:
• English writing and speaking skills: Native or C2 level
• Bachelor of Arts in French teaching
• Masters or PhD degrees are preferred but not required
• Strong teaching background with different levels of secondary school French
• Familiarity with US curriculum is helpful
• Advisory duty to 4-5 students
• Outdoor experience: hiking, climbing, biking, and skiing is preferred but not required
Additional Duties:
Dorm residential experience/duty and living
evening study hall duty (every third evening)
