Lens
Lens is a municipality covering an area of 1,386 hectares and home to more than 4,500 residents. The municipality extends across three distinct geographical levels, ranging from 560 to 2,543 metres above sea level: the plain, the hillside with its vineyards, and the mountain area with its summer and winter tourism activities.
It comprises eight villages: Flanthey, Chelin, Vaas, Saint-Clément, Petit-Ollon, Valençon, Condémines and Lens, which serves as the political centre of the municipality. It also includes the renowned resort destination of Crans-Montana.
