Find a job

Compared to other countries, there are only a few unemployed people in Switzerland. Nevertheless, the demands on job seekers are high. Certificates and diplomas are very important.

Overview and support

Job offers can be found on various Internet portals and in daily newspapers. There are also private employment agencies. The publicly run Regional Job Centres (Regionale Arbeitsvermittlungszentren – RAV) can offer help with finding a job. A good place to go for information or consultation about studying, working, looking for a job and continuing education is the Vocational Information Centre (Berufsinformationszentrum – BIZ) at the Office for Vocational, Academic and Careers Guidance (Amt für Berufs-, Studien- und Laufbahnberatung – BSL) in Brig-Glis.
