Collombey-Muraz

Located downstream from Saint-Maurice, where the Rhône Valley opens up into the Valais Chablais region, Collombey-Muraz is one of the nine municipalities of the District of Monthey.

The municipality is made up of the villages of Collombey, Muraz, Collombey-le-Grand, Illarsaz and Les Neyres and covers an area of 3,080 hectares, including 1,350 hectares of agricultural land and 1,300 hectares of forest.

Owing to its vast lowland territory, it is one of the most extensive municipalities in Valais.
