Fully

Fully is a municipality with nearly 9,000 inhabitants, comprising seven villages on the plain and eight hamlets in the mid-mountain region. It is situated at an altitude of 460 metres. Its villages stretch over almost 8 kilometres at the foot of the majestic Chavalard mountain.

The southern climate of the Fully region favours the cultivation of a wide variety of fruits and vegetables in the Rhône Valley. The terraced vineyards adorn the hillsides with magnificent colours that change with the seasons. Fully is also fortunate to be home to the Follatères Nature Reserve, the renowned Tour des Muverans hiking route, and a beautiful chestnut grove. In addition, it is considered the capital of the Petite Arvine grape variety.

Dynamic and rapidly growing, Fully’s population has increased significantly in recent years. To meet the needs of its residents, the municipality has expanded its educational and sports infrastructure. Among the facilities available to the population are around ten public parks located throughout the different neighbourhoods, two daycare centres, a nursing home for senior citizens, and a multi-purpose community hall.

With around 100 local associations and clubs, community life in Fully is rich and vibrant. Furthermore, the municipality offers a wide range of shops and businesses of all kinds.
